As an academic researcher in health and social sciences my interests are in equality and wellbeing in areas including yoga, digital inclusion and health inequalities. My doctoral research at Leeds Beckett University looked at accessibility and diversity in UK yoga.
I have presented on this research to the inaugral Yoga Research Symposium 2024 and the Society for Social Medicine (SSM) Annual Scientific Meeting 2023. An article on my research is under revision for the journal BMC Public Health.
My other publications include a chapter in the Annual Review of the Sociology of Religion on spirituality and accessibility in yoga and an article in the journal Perspectives in Public health on researchers in public health bodies.
