Hi, I’m Sally and I’m a researcher, yoga teacher and writer based in northern England.

I’m interested in health, wellbeing, diversity and accessibility. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2017 and I’m a 300-hour accredited yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga, and ambassador and graduate of Accessible Yoga School. I run a non-profit Leeds Community Yoga bringing yoga to marginalised communities. I’m also a researcher working in health and inclusion at Leeds Beckett University and publishing on yoga and marginalised groups. I write about health, wellbeing and disability and I’ve written for the NHS, The Guardian, Disability Now and BWY Spectrum magazine.

My love of yoga and interest in inclusion are rooted in my lived experience as an autistic adult diagnosed 14 years ago. I live in Leeds with my border terrier dog.
